Four Pillars
Unity
“None of us are as good as all of us.” Our Knights know that there is no task we cannot achieve if it’s done in His name, and with our fellow Knights. The emphasis on community is what makes us a strong parish.
Fraternity
Fr. Michael J. McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus, to provide aid to the surviving family after the death of the house provider. Our Order’s top-rated insurance continues to do this today, as well as the deeds of our brother Knights, who gave more than 75 million service hours in 2017.
Charity
The Catholic faith teaches us to “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” Knights of Columbus express love for their neighbors by conducting food drives, donating resources to local soup kitchens, by volunteering with the Special Olympics, and by supporting, in any way we can, all mothers who choose life for their unborn child.
Patriotism
Knights of Columbus, whether they’re Americans, Canadians, Mexicans, Cubans, Filipinos, Polish, Guatemalans, Panamanians, or Dominicans, all strive to be patriots. Devoted to God and our country, we fight for both. We show that Catholics support free democracy and are civically virtuous.
